Here's hoping Paul Byrd doesn't get disciplined for buying and using HGH. Losing Byrd for 50 or 100 games not only puts a major crimp in the Indians' rotation, it probably makes Mark Shapiro -- already skittish when it comes to parting with prospects -- slam the door on any possible Dan Haren trade.
If Byrd stopped his involvement with HGH prior to baseball putting it on their banned substances list in 2005, then no hard, no foul, I would think. But we'll find out.

I obviously meant "no harm, no foul."
