Losing Byrd for 50 or 100 games not only puts a major crimp in the Indians' rotation, it probably makes Mark Shapiro -- already skittish when it comes to parting with prospects -- slam the door on any possible Dan Haren trade.<BR/><BR/>If Byrd stopped his involvement with HGH prior to baseball putting it on their banned substances list in 2005, then no hard, no foul, I would think.
