Casey Blake Watch
Two strikouts in the Indians come from behind win. But he did have a two-out double which set up Jhonny Peralta's 2-run homer Sunday. He also made some fine defensive plays -- a nice shoe-string catch while in right field, and then, after moving to third base, he made some nice picks and put outs.
If I'm going to do this, I have to be fair. Blake had a good game today.

Don't think for a fraction of a nanosecond that Mark Shapiro is enjoying Blake's defensive prowess at third base.
At the moment, Blake is singlehandedly making the Andy Marte trade look bad. Blake is hustling and playing hard, even if he hasn't gotten a hit with RISP since somewhere around Labor Day last year.
Marte, meanwhile, looks lethargic and, frankly, not in the best shape. Marte arrived in the majors with a rep as an outstanding defensive 3B, something that was going to reportedly keep him in the lineup even if he struggled at the plate, but right now it looks like he's even having trouble bending over to cleanly field routine grounders.
I'm concerned Marte is going to follow Carlos Baerga, Manny Ramirez and Bartolo Colon onto the Tribe's "El Gordo" train -- Latino ballplayers who balloon up on the Tribe's watch by eating way too much of mom's home cooking during the offseason.
Not to say it's limited just to Latino players -- we all know about Bob Wickman and C.C. Sabathia -- but it always seems like the Tribe gets thin, athletic Hispanic players as rookies and by their third year in the bigs, they're all getting way too plump.
Incidentally, has anyone seen Manny Ramirez lately? Twenty more pounds and he's going to be Cecil Fielder. No joke.
