Ray Charles, RIP
A legend was lost today, as Ray Charles passed away at the age of 73. He was one of the true pioneers in rock and roll, and he will be missed. I am a little surprised he was only 73. I guess I figured he was older than that. His rendition of America the Beautiful is probably the best version of a traditional patriotic song ever produced.
Rest in peace Mr. Charles.
