Wedge signs extension through 2010
Shouldn't the Indians have waited to see if they would choke away the last seven games of the season, like in '05?
All this means is I'll have Casey Blake to kick around for the next four years.

Right now, after watching the Indians put on a rally for the ages and still lose 11-10, I'm going to direct my venom at Fernando Cabrera.

It's time for him to go. If he has no options left, designate him for assignment.

The only thing that qualifies Cabrera as a major league pitcher is what qualified Paul Shuey as a major league pitcher: He has a God-given ability to throw mid-90s fastballs and filthy breaking stuff. Beyond that, he has neither the heart nor head for the Indians to waste further time grooming him as a late-inning reliever.

It's best to take Cabrera out of Eric Wedge's stubborn hands before he costs the Indians another game.

Also, Cliff Lee, I'm starting to look at you. You've been sucking way too much the past year and a half. Cabrera wouldn't have been in there had you just done your job.
