One day, someone will need to explain to me how in a time of war, flu's, famines and immigration reform, the Dixie Chicks are on the cover of Time Magazine.
* C.C Sabathia pitched a complete game shutout against the Twins today. He is finally looking like a true ace. I expect him to be traded to the Nationals for three prospects by the end of June.
* The Cavs' season is over. Now LeBron needs to be signed. I have faith that things will work out ... oh, who am I kidding? It's Cleveland. He'll probably be playing for the Nets by 2009.

Let's just package C.C. and LeBron and trade them to the Giants for Barry Bonds.
It would work out great. C.C. would get a chance to go back home to the Bay Area, but not for long. Once LeBron is a member of the Giants, Jay-Z will buy them, convert them to a basketball team and move them back to New York, where they will play alongside the Nets in the ghettos of Brooklyn. The two teams will timeshare LeBron, winning zillions of thugged-out championships.
Ever imagine you'd see LeBron with a solid gold grill? You will.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country would have a whole new reason to make fun of Cleveland once Bonds decides, at 754 home runs, he's had enough. At his retirement press conference at Jacobs Field, his mind ravaged by years of steroid abuse, he hops up on the table, pulls down his pants, and urinates on the press corps. The scene is replayed thousands of times on TV with strategically-placed pixelation.
